North American-based manufacturers of semiconductor equipment posted $1.50 billion in orders in October 2006 (three-month average basis) and a book-to-bill ratio of 0.95 according to the October 2006 Book-to-Bill Report published by SEMI. A book-to-bill of 0.95 means that $95 worth of orders were received for every $100 of product billed for the month.

The combined tools allow software application developers to create C algorithms for acceleration on Nallatech’s scalable FPGA-based systems, without the need to use low-level HDL programming methods.
