  • FSMLabs Releases RTLinuxPro for Windows Development Kit
    FSMLabs released RTLinuxPro for Windows, an innovative Microsoft Windows-hosted cross-development product. RTLinuxPro for Windows allows any Windows workstation to be used to develop RTLinuxPro hard real-time applications. RTLinuxPro for Windows features a full graphical interface and build system based upon the industry-standard Eclipse IDE.
  • Atmel, Melexis Team on Contactless RFID Readers, NFC Devices
    Atmel(R) Corporation (Nasdaq: ATML) and Melexis Microelectronic Integrated Systems N.V. (Euronext Brussels: MELE) announced today their collaboration to propose innovative solutions for 13.56 MHz RFID readers and Near Field Communication (NFC) devices. They will target applications such as passport and ID verification, contactless payment, transaction and peer-to-peer information exchange.
  • TI Creates DDR3 Registered Dual In-Line Memory Modules (RDIMMs)
    Texas Instruments (TI) (NYSE: TXN) today introduced the industry’s first fully-integrated register and phase-locked loop (PLL) for DDR3 registered dual in-line memory modules (RDIMMs). This single-chip device supports high data rates of 800 mega transfers per second (MT/s) to 1,066 MT/s. The device also reduces power consumption and board space to simplify the design of next-generation DDR3 memory modules for servers and workstations.
