• Mistral Announces VITA 46 (VPX) SBC from Curtiss Wright
  Mistral Solutions Pvt. Ltd., a leading provider of complete technology solutions and professional services in the embedded space, today announced the availability of the industry's first VITA 46 (VPX)-based single board computer (SBC) from Curtiss Wright Controls Embedded Computing. The VPX6-185 combines the performance and the advanced I/O capabilities of the Freescale 8641 processor with an extensive I/O complement to provide a highly capable processing platform for a wide range of embedded military/aerospace applications.
• ZiLOG Updates Crimzon RC Express Remote Control Development Software
  ZiLOG(R), Inc. (Nasdaq: ZILG), a leading provider of integrated 8-bit microcontroller (MCU) and universal remote control solutions, today announced the availability of Crimzon RC Express(R) v2.0, an updated version of its configurable and scalable universal infrared remote (UIR) control software development suite which provides customers with a complete software development platform for developing UIR control units for numerous brands and models of devices including TV sets, VCR and DVD players and recorders, satellite, cable and set top boxes, and audio units.
• LSI Logic Acquires StoreAge Networking Technologies for $50 Million
  LSI Logic Corporation (NYSE: LSI) today announced it has signed a definitive agreement to acquire StoreAge Networking Technologies Ltd. for approximately $50 million in cash. StoreAge Networking Technologies, a privately held company based in Nesher, Israel with US offices in Irvine, California, provides SAN storage management and multi-tiered, data protection software for the enterprise.



• Conexant Acquires Zarlink Semiconductor's Packet Switching Business
  Conexant Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ:CNXT), a worldwide leader in semiconductor solutions for broadband communications and the digital home, today announced that it has acquired Zarlink Semiconductor's packet switching business in a $5 million all-cash transaction. Zarlink's packet switching product line includes a range of Fast Ethernet aggregation switches for network access equipment, and is complementary to Conexant's DSL central office (CO) product offering.
• PDF Solutions Acquires SIA, Fault Detection and Classification Software
  PDF Solutions, Inc. (Nasdaq:PDFS), the leading provider of process-design integration technologies to enhance IC manufacturability, today announced that it has signed a definitive agreement to acquire Si Automation S.A. (SIA), a privately held Fault Detection and Classification (FDC) software and services provider, based in Montpellier, France.
