  • MOXA Unveils High Speed, Instant Plug and Play USB-to-Serial Adapter
    MOXA is pleased to introduce a new member of the MOXA UPort family of USB-to-serial adaptors. The UPort 1130 is a 1-port USB-to-serial adaptor. It enables users to attach a RS-422/485 serial peripheral to a laptop or workstation's USB port. The adaptor features full-speed USB 1.1 operation and serial transmission speeds up to 921.6 Kbps. It is a truly handy, plug-and-play tool for engineers who need to manage serial devices from a portable workstation or notebook. The UPort 1130 is a perfect fit for mobile, instrumentation and point-of-sale (POS) applications.
  • MOXA Debuts Hi-Speed USB-to-Serial UPort Hubs with Patented COM Preserver
    MOXA introduces a new series of USB-to-serial hubs that come with the patented COM Preserver(TM) technology. COM Preserver(TM) makes serial device management easy, since the USB-to-serial hub can be unplugged and re-plugged (either in the same or a different computer), without changing the COM numbers assigned to the attached serial devices.
  • Kontron Supports Intel Core 2 Duo Processor T7400
    Kontron announced their support for the Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Duo processor T7400 in Q1/2007 for their existing platforms that already support the Intel(R) Core(TM) Duo processor multi -core technology. These Kontron platforms cover a number of form factors such as 3U CompactPCI, 6U CompactPCI, ETXexpress/COM Express, ETX 3.0, ATX, Flex-ATX and Mini-ITX. Other new Kontron platforms that are planned for introduction in Q1/2007 such as AdvancedMC will also support the new Intel processor.
