  • Xerox Scientists Secure Documents with 1/100th-inch MicroText Font
    Xerox Corporation (NYSE: XRX) scientists have developed a font so small that you need a magnifying glass to read the words. The new MicroText(TM) Specialty Imaging Font, just 1/100th of an inch high, is designed to help make valuable documents with personal information such as birth certificates, personal identification papers, and checks even harder to forge.
  • TI Rolls Out GUI-Configurable Digital Power Controllers
    Texas Instruments Incorporated (TI) (NYSE: TXN) today introduced four new Fusion Digital Power(TM) products that enable point-of-load digital power management in telecom and data-centric applications. TI plans to demonstrate several innovative digital power platforms, including its new configurable, dual-phase synchronous buck controller, at the Digital Power Forum (DPF) 2006 in Dallas, September 18-20.

    Intel Corporation today announced that Intel(R) Serial Flash Memory (S33) products are shipping to meet the memory requirements of a range of applications, including digital TVs, DVDs, PCs, modems and printers. Intel’s serial flash is based on an industry-standard package, pin-out and command set to simplify board design and save board space.
