ON Semiconductor Introduces 18 Power MOSFET Devices

Posted by Ken Cheung in Components on Friday, August 11, 2006

ON Semiconductor, a leading global supplier of power management solutions, introduced 18 new Power MOSFET devices that optimize dc-dc conversion and reduce power losses at critical current levels. These Power MOSFETs are ideal for CPU/GPU power delivery, dc-dc conversion and both low and high side switching in computing applications such as desktops, laptops and servers.

These new 30 volt (V), 35- to 191 amp (A) devices are single N-channel MOSFETs offering lower RDS(on), which minimizes power dissipation. The devices also provide low gate charge and low gate charge ratio that reduces conduction and switching losses. This makes the power supply more efficient.

Eight of the new Power MOSFET devices are offered in a DPAK package and are budgetary priced between $0.40 and $0.87 per unit in quantities of 10,000 units.
