According to Analysys International, Intel's launch of the Core Duo Processor will drive the processor market to a turning point of competition. Analysys International is a leading Internet based provider of business information about technology, media and telecom (TMT) industries in China.

By reducing the price of some of the product, Intel is paving the way for its new products and increasing market pressure on AMD. Intel will continue to drive the industry with technical innovation while responding faster to customer's demands and more flexible product strategy.
