EDA Industry Needs Course Correction

According to DAC panelists, the EDA industry needs to embrace new business models, expand its product lines and go back to its roots in solving the technology problems of chip makers. One DAC panelists complained about the practice of bundling products at monopolistic pricing to hurt the new guys. EDA companies also need to go back to their roots to get closer to users so they understand and can help solve users' problems.
