Orders for IC Equipment to Decrease
According to a report from Susquehanna Financial Group, semiconductor equipment orders are projected to slow in the second half of 2006. A combination of near-term excess capacity addition, particularly in NAND flash, and relatively stable demand, will likely lead to slowing equipment orders. However, memory orders will not decline as sharply as some fear. More about the report can be found on EE Times.
