Microsoft Robotics Studio Blog

Posted by Ken Cheung in Robotics on Monday, June 19, 2006

Looks like Microsoft has launched a new blog, Robotics Studio Blog. There's only one post so far — something about Microsoft being a gold sponsor of the RoboBusiness Conference and Exposition. It appears Microsoft will deliver a conference session outlining its perspective of the robotics market and will host a technical seminar for hobbyist, commercial and academic robotic developers.

According to the About page, the Microsoft Robotics Studio is a Windows-based environment for academic, hobbyist and commercial developers to easily create robotics applications across a wide variety of hardware. However, I can't seem to find anything about the product via Google or on the Microsoft site. I wonder what Microsoft is up to. The new blog was found via Mikehall's Embedded WEblog.
