Supporting Smartphones with 320×240 Screens

The new Motorola Q and Samsung i320 feature landscape 320×240 screens. The question is, is your Windows Mobile Smartphone application ready for the new screens? The MSDN Windows Mobile Developer Center has an area called the Adapt Your App page to help you.

This new section is a one-stop source for all the latest information and resources you need to build resolution-aware applications. Among the resources, you will find a handy chart listing all the resolutions currently supported by Windows Mobile devices.

The Adapt Your App page also has a new Landscape Smartphone emulator image and Microsoft's guidance information, tools, and resources. They'll help you get your code ready for the latest devices and help you be prepared to support additional form factors as they hit the market.
